The exhibition of Mindaugas Pridotkas “Self-portrait with Hands” expresses by its title what it will be about. It may be read as “self-portrait” made by hands and as information about the exhibition in which sculptures of self-portraits and hands are displayed. Both variants are intriguing.
The exhibition “Masters and Disciples: Elena Jakutytė” was displayed in Vilnius, at the Artists’ Association Gallery in December of 2014. It is the first event from the debut cycle of exhibitions “Masters and Disciples” dedicated to the honour of undervalued or forgotten teachers of art and to the presentation of their works.
The fate of the prominent Lithuanian painter, graphic artist and a participant in the January Uprising - Elvyras Mykolas Andriolis (1836–1893) is inextricably linked to France. In historiography he is often named - a Lithuanian Gustave Doré (1832–1883), while doing so he is compared to a famous French graphic artist, illustrator and sculptor whose artistic works decorate the world famous literature.

Aleksas Andriuškevičius is an artist, a pedagogue and one of the members of the group of artists "Post Ars". Minimalism started to dominate his works since 1990. It can also be seen in his exhibition "Litrožis" open at Meno Parkas gallery in Kaunas until the 14th of February. 2
