Dainius Svobonas was born in Vilnius on January 22, 1968. In 1990 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music, course of acting. The teachers of the profession were Algė Savickaitė, Henrikas Vancevičius, Stefa Nosevičiūtė. Since 1989 he has been an actor of Kaunas State Drama Theatre. He is also participating in various projects of other theatres, cultural events. D.Svobonas has been awarded with Kaunas “Fortune” diploma.

In 2001 and 2004 he participated in the creation of Algimantas Puipa’s films “Elzė from Sand” and “Forest of Gods” as well as in the international film “Colette” (2003) of Nadine Trintignant marked by the real tragic story of love.
