In brief: It is believed that Lithuania and China are not related by any historical links, that these are two uncongenial countries. It is not true. Lithuanians were interested in the news from this Dragon land; therefore, much of interesting information may be traced in the interwar press, which shows that Lithuanians followed news from the other side of the world.

Therefore, the author of the article reviews what was interesting to Lithuanians of the interwar period in China focusing on events of 1926-1932, when the major political transformation of the country took place.
