Vytautas Tamoliūnas was born on April 17, 1955 in Telšiai, Lithuania.
From 1975 to 1979 he studied at Kaunas School of Applied Arts and received the Diploma in painting and design. In 2000 he became a member of the Nida Artists' Association "Tiltas" (Bridge). From 2001 he is a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association. In 2005 he became a member of the Lithuanian Union of Art Photographers. The artist died in Kaunas on July 15, 2009.
