The object of the hottest discussions of Kaunas Architecture and Urbanism Experts’ Council (KAUET) is the fate of Kaunas new town: concept of Kaunas new town heritage protection regulation and the study “Searches for the Urbane Model of Kaunas New Town” presented by Algimantas Miškinis.
“Real architecture, as I understand it, must always solve architectural tasks which surpass the daily logic of a man. These are situations when it is not enough to lean upon scientific knowledge, intuition, fantasy – it is necessary to invoke something that may hardly be described in words, something sacral,” believes the architect E.Miliūnas.
