Rolandas Rimkūnas was born in Kaunas on June 26, 1963. In 1983-1990 he studied at Vilnius Academy of Arts, Kaunas Art Institute, where he obtained the glass artist’s specialty. In 1991-1998 he studied at Vilnius Academy of Arts and was conferred the Master’s degree in graphic arts. Since 1994 he has been lecturing at the Graphics Department of VAA, KAI (Docent). Since 2000 he has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union, since 2006 – a member of the Lithuanian Association of Graphic Design. He works in the field of engraving, graphic design, graphics of books and heraldry.
