Nijolė Lepeškaitė was born in Zypliai village, Šakiai region on August 3, 1947. In 1964–1968 she studied at the Lithuanian State Conservatory, course of actor’s mastery. After finishing the studies, she started working as an actress at Kaunas State Drama Theatre in 1968. She was also filmed television and cinema films of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and other countries.
