Goda Piktytė was born in Kaunas in 1970. In 1996 she graduated from Bachelor studies of art criticism at Vytautas Magnus University, Faculty of Arts (major – film art, supervisor – S. Macaitis). In 1996 she finished actor’s mastery course at the Higher Theatre School (supervisor – V. Šinkariukas). In 1999 the actress completed Master studies of art criticism at Vytautas Magnus University, Faculty of Arts (major – fine arts of Lithuania and Europe). Since 1996 she has been working in LNK TV station: she makes sound recordings for TV series, films and advertisements. Since 1999 she has been working as an actress at Kaunas State Drama Theatre. From 2002 she is the head of the drama studio of the Gymnasium of Kaunas University of Technology. In 2006 the drama studio became the winner of the international competition Global Education Festival in San Remo, Italy.
