Gintautas Natkevičius was born on March 23, 1958. In 1976-1981 he studied at Vilnius Engineering and Construction Institute where he obtained the specialty of an architect. From 1999 he is the general manager of the private architecture design company STR. Natkevičius ir Partneriai. The architect designs buildings for public, special and residential purposes. He is a member of the Lithuanian Architects’ Union.

2001 – Prize of “Architect of the Year” (for open architecture full of ideas).

2002 – Prize of “Archiforma” for the best architecture work of 2001 (school in Meteliai Regional Park), along with R. Adomaitis.

2003 – Great Award METRE 1/5 (for a private house in Lukšio Str., Kaunas), in the exhibition of architecture “Look at Oneself”, along with R. Adomaitis.

2003 – Award for the best architectural realisation (complex of 3 private houses in Alytus), in the exhibition – contest “The Best Project of the Year”, along with R. Adomaitis.

2005 – Award for the best reconstruction (Pentacom administration and warehouse premises), in the exhibition – contest “The Best Project of the Year”, along with Mantas Mickevičius, R. Adomaitis.

2005 – Nomination “Recognised among Colleagues” (for the implemented project of a dwelling house in Utriai village, Klaipėda district), in the exhibition “Architecture of Lithuanian Private Houses”, along with Raimondas Babrauskas and R. Adomaitis.
