A member of the Lithuanian Artists‘ Association, ceramicist Romualdas Andrijauskas died on 14 June 2015.
R. Andrijauskas was born in Kaunas on 23 December 1953. In 1965–1971 he studied at J. Naujalis Secondary School, in 1975 he entered LSSR State Art Institute, Kaunas Evening Department, specialty of ceramics and graduated from the institute in 1981. The artist started his creative activity in 1982 by creating a number of monumental decorative compositions in various interiors and exteriors of Lithuania: “Reclaimers”, Prienai (1983), group of vases at Kaunas Sewing Association Baltija (1986), decorative composition in the exteriors of Vilkaviškis Palace of Justice (1990), decorative composition at Kaunas Radvilėnai Secondary School (2000), and others.
The artist presented his works in a dozen solo shows. He participated in republic group exhibitions, plein-airs and symposiums with his ceramic works.
