Gediminas Jurevičius was born in Kretinga on October 12, 1960. In 1978 he graduated from Jonava Secondary School and finished the studies of architecture at Vilnius Engineering Construction Institute in 1983. Between 1983-1992 he worked at the City Construction Institute, Kaunas Branch, and at the Agricultural Construction and Design Institute. In 1992 an independent studio of G.Jurevičius started operating.

At the beginning of his wonderful career, the architect designed the Catholic church in Palemonas (1991), shopping centre “Saulėtekis” (1996), Catholic chapel in Kačerginė (1998, along with architect F.Jackevičius, according to sketches of arch. V.Landsbergis-Žemkalnis), “Maxima” shopping centre at Pramonės Ave. in Kaunas, (2002), later – the house of the basketball player Arvydas Sabonis in Kaunas, “Akropolis” shopping centre in Vilnius, Kaunas “Nic” and many other public and residential objects.

By the way, one of the most famous Lithuanian architects G.Jurevičius was a member of the well-known rock band created by the architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas "Antis". In 1984-1986 he played the bass guitar eagerly in this band.
