Arūnas Vaitkūnas was born in Kaunas in 1956. He studied painting at the State Art Institute in Vilnius between 1974 – 1980. From 1990, he became a member of the Lithuanian Painters’ Union. From 1993, he was a member of the group “Angis”. He worked and lived in Kaunas.
