Donaldas Kajokas was born in Prienai on June 13, 1953. He graduated from the Lithuanian Physical Culture Institute. The first literature works were published in Kauno Diena daily and other Lithuanian and foreign periodic publications. Later he became a column writer with the magazine “Nemunas” weekly and is working here till now. He has been a member of the Lithuanian Writers’ Union from 1985. He is also an expert of Kaunas Municipality Committee of Cultural Projects Funding.
