Laima Rupšytė-Strazdauskienė was born in Šilalė district on September 14, 1962.

She graduated from Gargždai 1st Secondary School, studied at Vilnius School of Culture (present Vilnius Conservatoire) majoring in mass events direction. Later she graduated from Yaroslavl Theatre Institute.

She is working as an actress at Kaunas State Puppet Theatre. The actress participates in poetry evenings. She is a member of M. K. Čiurlionis Association. She dances in the folk dance ensemble Ave Vita. She loves garden work, especially growing flowers. The actress adores travelling.
